Company Honored as a “Hot Technology” Winner of the 8th Annual 2013 Hot Companies and Best Products Award; Also Named as a Finalist for Both TiE50 and Red Herring Top 100 North America Awards
Campbell, Calif., May 13, 2013 – CloudByte, the first company to guarantee quality of service (QoS) to every application from a shared storage platform, announced today that it is a winner of the 8th Annual 2013 Hot Companies and Best Products award in the “Hot Technology” category. Winners from all over the world were honored in Las Vegas on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 during the 8th annual dinner and presentations. CloudByte won the award for its patent-pending storage QoS technology, which allows service providers to easily and affordably host performance-sensitive enterprise applications in the cloud.
The Hot Companies and Best Products recognition program encompasses the world’s best in organizational performance, products and services, hot technologies, executives and management teams, successful deployments, product management and engineering, customer satisfaction, and public relations in every area of information technology.
CloudByte also announced that it has been shortlisted for two other major industry awards: TiE50 and Red Herring Top 100 North America. The TiE50 awards will be announced at TiEcon, which takes place in Santa Clara, May 17-18. The winners of the Red Herring Top 100 North America awards will be revealed at the Red Herring North America forum, which celebrates the top private companies in the North America region and takes place on May 21-23 in Monterey, California.
